Lisa Brady

Lisa has been working at Busy Bees Pre-School since 2003 and became our manager in 2007. She is the positive pair of eyes over looking all the staff keeping the setting to the highest standard! She welcomes all new parents and carers to the setting with an aim to give each family the most positive experience during their time with us. Her knowledge and experience is passed on to all members of staff as she continues to develop her own learning with a passion to constantly bring new ideas to the setting.

Claire Tunley
Supervisor – Level 3 CCLD
Paediatric First Aid Level 3
Claire has been working at Busy Bees Pre-School since 2004 then became a supervisor in 2007.
She always starts off our week supervising a Monday and Tuesday, Claire is especially great at planning and finding great recourses to bring into the setting. She has an extensive knowledge of our curriculum and helps support staff helping children work towards our curriculum goals. She also looks in detail how our children are playing to understand where their development is and why they are at that stage to then plan activities to promote their individual needs.

Jayne Tice
Pre-School Practitioner – Level 3 CCLD, Understanding Autism level 2
Paediatric First Aid Level 3
Jayne has been working in the setting as a practitioner since 2007. With lots of experience she is very skilled at creating activities focusing on her intent having great impacts on our children development. Jayne also spent lots of time to understand children with autism and how as a setting we can support their needs, her skills are a great asset to bring into Busy Bees which she shares with all the other staff giving great guidance.

Beth Wilson
‘The first five years have so much to do with how the next 80 turn out’
Pre-School Practitioner – Level 3 CCLD
Paediatric First Aid Level 3
Beth has been working in the setting as a practitioner since 2010. Having gained lots of experience with the children she helps share her own skills of gardening with the children. (Beth is our gardening queen) We love seeing how she keeps the garden bright and alive with a variety of flowers, fruit and vegetables teaching them to care for the world around them. She works hard to support our children's needs and radiates her positivity in the setting.

Chloe Clayton

Paediatric First Aid Level 3
Chloe has been working at the setting since 2011. The children love singing and dancing during her time in the sessions, often using wooden spoons as microphones! Chloe is very artistic and loves to spend time in the craft zone getting messy as well as getting to know the children creating lots of laughter in the setting. Currently on maternity leave we are can't wait to have her back in the setting next year!

Emma Butters

Emma has been a practitioner at Busy Bees Pre-School since 2017. We are so happy to have her smile in the setting after coming back from her maternity leave this September. Emma creates beautiful bonds with the children and encourages children to share their interests in the setting developing their skills and supporting them emotionally. We love to sit and listen to her at story time, we really learn about the meaning behind each story and take in the information it teaches us.

Charlotte Imlach

Pre-School Practitioner, Level 3 Diploma Early Years Educator in Children’s Learning and Development.
Paediatric First Aid Level 3
Charlotte has been working at Busy Bees Pre-School since 2016. As a busy mum of 4 and supervisor at our after school club at Portway. She is a reliable member of staff at Busy Bees with lots of experience of supporting children. She creates lovely relationships with all the children and often continues to support them when transitioning to school watching them grow once they have left our Pre-School.

Stephanie Henderson- Giles
Pre-school practitioner – BTECH National Extended Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development
Paediatric First Aid Level 3
Steph has been working at Busy Bees Pre-School since 2021. She has flourished as a person in the setting from being a person who loves to play with the children to developing her own skills planning fantastic activities. Steph understands the children and teaches them how to bring out the best in themselves. After her studies at college we are happy that she joined our team to become the great practitioner she is today.

Sara Craven

Sarah recently joined the team in April this year, previously working in another nursery she brings great skills and ideas to the setting. Sarah has taken on being a key worker in her stride and we feel like she has been apart of our team forever.
She has taken time to learn our goals as a setting and shows her understanding through our day to day routine. Saras journey has only just begun at Busy Bees however her great experience shows within the setting.
